Take the A470 towards Merthyr. At the first rounabout take the third exit followed by the first exit at the next roundabout. Head along the A4054 toward Aberfan and Troeydrhiw and about a mile from the roundabout there is a right hand turn within some chevrons. Take this right hand turn onto Mary Street and follow the road until you come to a junction with the chemist on your left hand side. Turn left onto the B4254 Cardiff Road and follow it along until you see the sign for Treharris Park. Turn right and follow the road up to the top.

From Merthyr

Take the old road A4054 towards Troedyrhiw and Merthyr Vale for approximately 6 miles until you come into Edwardsville village. Take the first main left hand turn after the swimming pool onto the B4254 Cardiff Road. About half a mile later there as you come around a double bend there is a sign for Treharris Park. Take a very tight turn left here and follow the road up to the top.

From Trelewis/Bedlinog

Head down the B4255 towards Nelson.  100 yards before the Ffaldcaiach inn take the signposted turn onto B4254 Treharris/Merthyr. Follow this road until you come across the sign for Treharris Park and turn right. Follow up to the top.
